Account Status Operation

 

Touch > Account Status (#104) POS Key.

 

Description

 

Used to display the current status of a Customer/Member's Account at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. Note : Accounts, Customers, Members and Loyalty Customers are often referred to in the documentation when discussing topics relating to Customers/Patrons of a site.
  2. If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.

 


Pre-Requisites

 

  1. Ensure the Function Account Status POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.
  2. If required, ensure the NetPOS SwiftPOS Back Office Settings has the Get Points Accounts and Get ePurse Accounts options are selected, to ensure these are retrieved and displayed at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.

 


Operation

 

  1. To view a Customer/Member's account information at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal

 

  1. Select Customer POS Key to open the Customer Search screen to search for a Customer/Member OR enter a Member Number and select the Customer POS Key to retrieve the Customer/Member's details in the sales grid.
  2. Select the Account Status POS Key to open the Account Status screen. An example of which can be seen below:

The Customer/Member's name, number and photo (if applicable) are always displayed. All other details displayed is determined by the settings set here and here.


Note : Accounts are only displayed here if they are selected in the NetPOS.Net SwiftPOS Back Office Settings screen.


  • Print Transactions - Select to display a date range selection prompt to specify the transactions to be printed. Transaction will be printed on the Receipt printer.
  • View Linked Members - Select to view Members that are currently linked to the selected Member.
  • View Notes - Select to view the Notes associated with the Member that was entered in the Back Office here. Note : This button will only be displayed if Notes exist.
  • View Last Transactions At This Location - Select to open the Last Member Sales in Location screen to view the Customer/Member's previous sales. For more information ... Note : Unlike the Customer Sales by Location POS Key where the items displayed against selected transactions can be limited by Category, this is not the case here. When selecting the View Last Transactions At This Location button all items will be displayed. 

    The Number of Transactions to track and return is configured against the Location
     
  • View Vouchers - Select to open the Ledgers screen and view all the Customer/Member's outstanding Vouchers.
  • Print - Select to print a copy of the Account Status details displayed. The Account Status print out will be sent to the Receipt Printer.



Ledgers

 

Displays a list of all the Customer/Member's outstanding Vouchers.

To include a Stored Value Voucher to the current sale select one of the Vouchers listed.
