Description

This document contains a complete list of all POS Keys available in Touch. Most of these can be configured to ensure access is restricted to Clerk/Staff Groups by making use of the Clerk Security features.

That is, no validation is done prior to the charge being processed.

	Proof of Purchase	165		Used to make provide a Proof of Purchase docket without reporting the dollar values. Once added to a Keyboard, it can be selected in Touch to produce a Proof of Purchase docket. A Proof of Purchase docket will print a Receipt/Tax Invoice look a like docket, for the last sale made. This docket is predominately the same as the Receipt/Tax Invoice docket except that all $ values are asterixed (*) out.

	Home	1		Used to navigate to the Home Keyboard Layout. Same as the Function Home POS Key.
	Return	2		Used to navigate to the previous Keyboard Layout. Same as the Function Return POS Key.
	Kiosk Sales Grid	4		Used to display the Sales Grid when Sales Grid option is NOT selected with Kiosk 1 or 2 type keyboards. Note : Set the Width and Height settings to ensure the Sales Grid is displayed appropriately. For example, set the width to 5 and the height to 6. See also Kiosk Cart Pos Key.

How to Access the POS Key Settings

Open Keyboard Designer and select the layout required.
Select/Add a POS Key.
Right click the POS Key and select More Settings OR select More Settings from the Button Properties menu to open the Discount Settings screen. Note : This will only open if the selected POS Key has settings that can be configured.
Configure the settings as required.
