Astute Business Intelligence (previously known as IDOL) Export

Description

This feature enables the manual export of sales data for host systems like Astute Business Intelligence using the Astute General Ledger interface. Note : Astute was previously known as IDOL. However, it is now owned by EBET and has been renamed to Astute.

Expand the Astute menu to access the following:

Settings - Select to access the Settings screen (see below).
Export - Select to access the Export screen (see below).

Sales data can be configured to automatically be exported as part of the End of Day process.

Pre-Requisites

The Astute General Ledger interface must be selected in the Registration screen.

Astute Business Intelligence Settings

This screen is accessed from here.

Export Folder - The folder where the CSV file will be created.
Selected Version - Select from the drop down list one of the following:

FTP Data Transfer - Select to specify FTP settings for file transfer.
Save - Select to save the settings.

Astute Business Intelligence Sales Data Export

This screen is used to invoke the manual export of sales data for Astute.

Sales Folder - The Export folder selected on the Settings screen.
Export Version - Displays the setting selected above.
Select Location Group (Venue) - Select from the drop down list to restrict the export to a specific Location Group (Venue).
Mark All as Exported - Select to mark all sales as Exported.
Sales Export Reset - Select a Trading Date to ensure that General Journal related transactions for that date are flagged as NOT Exported, so that they can be exported again. Note : Resetting is limited to a single date at a time. Also, when Resetting and exporting Sales data again, be sure that they DO NOT result in duplicate data when imported into Astute BI.
Sales Export - Runs the export manually. This can also be done automatically using the End of Day process.
