Touch > Change Finaliser (#515) POS Key

Description

Used to change the Media Type used to finalise a sale at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.

To Be Considered

1. If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.
2. Note : This feature is only designed to change the Media Types reported to finalise a sale transaction.  The sale will not be recalculated in anyway, eg Change, Points, etc. 
   A Media Type could be selected that has a merchant fee associated with it. This feature will NOT add the merchant fee to the sale.

Pre-Requisites

1. Ensure the Function Change Finaliser POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.

Operation

1. At the SwiftPOS Touch terminal select the Change Finaliser POS Key.
2. This will open the Transactions screen with the Reverse Trans button displayed.
    

3. Select a Transaction listed in the grid and select the Reverse Trans button.
4. The Finaliser Selection screen below is displayed listing all the Media Types used in finalising the sale.
    

5. Select the Media Type to be changed and click OK.
6. The Finalisers screen below is displayed listing all the Media Types that are available.
    

7. Select a new Media Type. A message will be displayed confirming the change.
