Description
This feature is used to change the Location that the SwiftPOS Touch terminal is currently assigned to without having to perform the change in the SwiftPOS Back Office.

- To assign the SwiftPOS Touch terminal to a new Location at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal follow the steps outlined below.
Pre-Requisites
- Note : It is recommended to do Z Read BEFORE changing Locations as the Report data will be lost once the Location has been changed.
Operation
- At the SwiftPOS Touch terminal, in Tools > Select right arrow once > Server Tools, then select the 16 Change Terminal Location menu item.
- The Locations screen is displayed, listing the only those Locations that the Clerk/Staff Member currently logged in has access to.
- Select the new Location. The following message will be displayed:
- Select OK.
- Select the Apply Pending Changes option from the Updates button on the Toolbar to ensure the Location change is processed.
- The SwiftPOS Touch terminal's Location should now be changed both in the SwiftPOS Back Office and at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.
How to change a POS Terminal location without getting a full update from the Back Office?
Change Location at Touch. Answer No should have no full update sent. Ensure send changes is turned off in Back Office by setting it to zero.
To set this up as a button on the keyboard, use the "Run Tool (Key 900)" option.
