Description

 

This menu item is used to configure 3rd Party Customer Order Drive Thru Displays.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. This is for interfacing to a 3rd Party Drive Thru system.
  2. Currently only Summit Customer Order Display is supported.

 


Pre-Requisites

 

  1. A Drive-Thru Customer Display Peripheral will need to be added at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal if one does not exist.
  2. The 3rd Party Drive Thru system needs to be configured correctly as per their specifications to interface to SwiftPOS Touch.

This screen is accessed from here.

 

  • Disabled - Select to ensure the peripheral is disabled.
     
  • Summit Customer Order Display - Select to enable the settings below.
     
    • TCP/IP Settings - Select to open the TCP/IP Settings screen and configure.
    • Timeout (Seconds) - Displays/Set the timeout in seconds for the connection to the 3rd Party Customer Order Drive Thru system.
       
    • Display Control Mode - Select from the following options:
       
      • Manually set by function button
      • Prompt when sale starts
      • Always On
         
        • Display Number - Select from the drop down list of Customer Order Displays, the one to which this peripheral is to be assigned.
