Event Analysis

Description

 

This feature is used to Export (as a CSV file) the following Event sales related data for analysis:

 

  1. Revenue Data.
  2. Credit Card Data.
  3. Mix n Match Data.

 

Pre-Requisites

 

  1. To make use of this feature, sites will need to be registered for the Events module.

 

Settings

 

 

This screen is accessed from here and used to configure the settings for the exporting of Event related sales data for the purposes of Analysis.

 

  • Export Folder - Select to open the Browse for Folder screen and select the folder in which the export files (CSV) will be written.

 

Revenue and Credit Card Analysis Settings

 

  • Price Level - Select to open the Search Price Levels screen and select the Price Level. Once selected, only sales data associated with the selected Price Level will be selected for export. Also, the difference between the selected Price Level and the Location's default Price Level will be used to determine the values in the columns ; Discount_Revenue_Exc, Discount_Transactions and Discount_Value_Exc of the Revenue Analysis export file.
  • Media - Add/Delete Media as required. Media listed will be used to generate the Revenue Analysis data exported.
  • Cumulative - Select to ensure that revenue data associated with the selected Media are summed and included in the totals (columns with Cumulative in the name) when exported as part of the Revenue Analysis export. Note: At least one Media must be flagged as Cumulative.
  • Focused - Select to ensure that revenue data associated with the selected Media are summed and included in the totals (columns with Focused in the name) when exported as part of the Revenue Analysis export. Note: One Media MUST be flagged as Focused.

 

Mix n Match Analysis Settings

 

  • Card String PLU - Select to open the Search Products screen to select the String PLU Product used to record membership card data. For example, RAC membership card.

 

Note : Data entered in the fields below  will be exported as entered.

 

  • Store Location - Displays/Enter the Store Location.
  • Place Holder 2 to 4 - Displays/Enter Place Holders 2-4.
  • Partner Code - Displays/Enter the Partner Code.
  • Auto Club - Displays/Enter the Auto Club.

 

Export

 

 

Export

 

  • Folder - Select to open the Search Location Groups screen to select a Location Group for which data is to be exported. Select the Open Folder icon to open and view the content.

 

Event

 

  • Event - Select to open the Search Events screen to select an Event.
     
    • Export Revenue Analysis Data - Select to open the Locations selection screen to select the Locations for which Event Revenue Analysis related sales data will be exported. Data exported will be in the format of a CSV file named EventRevenueAnalysis_AAAAAAAAAAA_YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.csv where A is the Event Name. For example, EventRevenueAnalysis_Wildcats v NZ Breakers_20210527153149.csv. See below for a sample of a Revenue Analysis file.
    • Export Credit Card Analysis Data - Select to open the Locations selection screen to select the Locations for which Event Credit Card Analysis related sales data will be exported. Data exported will be in the format of a CSV file named EventCreditCard_AAAAAAAAAAA_YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.csv where A is the Event Name. For example, EventCreditCardAnalysis_Wildcats v NZ Breakers_20210527153201.csv. See below for a sample of a Credit Card Analysis file.
       
Mix n Match

 

Select to open the Search Mix n Match screen and select a Mix n Match.
 

  • Export Mix n Match Analysis Data - Select to open the Locations selection screen to select the Locations for which Event Mix n Match related sales data will be exported. Data exported will be in the format of a CSV file named EventMixAndMatchAnalysis_AAAAAAAAAAA_YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.csv where A is the Event Name. For example, EventMixAndMatchAnalysis_Wildcats v NZ Breakers_20210527153217.csv. See below for a sample of a Mix n Match Analysis file.
