Image Acquisition Device Settings

 

Touch > Tools > Basic Tools > Terminal Settings > Peripheral List > Image Acquisition Device > Edit

 

Description

 

This menu item is used to configure the settings for a Image Acquisition Device at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal. The Image Acquisition Device is configured to enable the capturing of Customer/Member photo's from the SwiftPOS Touch terminal via the Edit Customer Details POS Key.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. Note : This feature is designed to support USB Webcam devices that are installed and connected to the SwiftPOS Touch terminal. Integrated cameras, such as those found in Laptops and Tablets may not function and are NOT supported.

 

Pre-Requisites

 

  1. If no Image Acquisition Device exists in the list of Peripherals, then it will need to be added.
  2. Ensure a USB Webcam is installed at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.

Device Modes

 

  • Disabled - Select to disable.
  • Twain Device - Select when installing a Twain image capturing device.
  • Webcam- Select when installing a USB Webcam device.

 

Member Photo Device Settings

 

  • Twain Device - Select from the drop down list.
  • Webcam Device - Select from the drop down list.
