Language Operation

 

Touch > Toolbar > Languages button

 

Description

 

This Toolbar button is used to select of an alternate Language.
 

To Be Considered

 

  1. If any other Clerk Log in mode is selected then the Language is automatically set by the Preferred Language for the Clerk/Staff Member logged in.

 

Pre-Requisites

 

  1. The Languages menu button will only be displayed if  the Support Multiple Languages setting has been selected and the No Clerk Log in required setting has also been selected.

 

Operation

 

  1. At the SwiftPOS Touch terminal, select the Languages Toolbar button.
  2. The following drop down list will be displayed:

 

To access this menu select the Languages Toolbar button.


When an alternate Language is selected either via this button or as a result of the Clerk's Preferred Language setting, the captions/labels of the POS Keys will automatically change to the Language selected. Where no translation has been done, then the default Language will be displayed. Also, captions/labels in the Main SwiftPOS Touch screen and Tools menu will change to the Language selected. All other screens will remain in the default language.
