Description
This tab is used to create and maintain Master Groups. Master Groups are primarily used for reporting purposes and represent the highest level within which to group Products available in SwiftPOS. Multiple Product Groups can be assigned to one Master Group, but only one Product Group can be assigned to one Master Group.

Grid
- Master Group # - Displays/Enter the identification number of the Master Group.
- Description - Displays/Enter the description of the Master Group.
- GL Code - Displays/Enter the GL Code that will be used when exporting Product related transactions.
- GLEC - To be continued ...
- Dept Code - Displays/Enter the MS Dynamics GL Department Code. Once configured the code entered will override the Location specific Department when exporting. Note : This column will only be visible if the site is registered for MS Dynamics GP.
Footer
- New - Select to add a new Master Group.
- Save - Select to save changes.
- Undo - Select to undo changes made.
- Delete - Select to delete the selected Master Group. Note : It is NOT possible to delete a Master Group while Product Groups are assigned to it.
- Multi Language - Select to set alternate language descriptions for the selected Master Group.
- Close - Select to exit.
