Description

This menu item is used to effect a price change to a Product in Touch.

Operation

1. From the Server Tools menu, select Back Office Price Change menu item.
2. This will open the Products screen enabling the search for a Product.
3. Select the Product for which a price change is required.
4. A Enter Single Item Price numeric keypad will be displayed.
5. Enter the new price and select enter. Use a decimal point to specify cents.
6. The following confirmation popup will be displayed:
    

7. Select Yes to invoke the change. Once confirmed, the price change will take effect in Touch once the Apply Pending Changes option is selected from the Updates button on the Toolbar. The price will also be sent to Back Office to ensure all that other Touch POS devices are updated with the new selling price. That new price will stay in effect until it is changed again, either in Back Office or in Touch.
