Price Change Connect Operation

 

Touch > Price Change Connect (#507) POS Key.

 

Description

 

Used to Activate/Deactivate Products in Touch and have these changes propagated to Back Office. Products will only be made Active/Inactive in the Location thin Touch is assigned to.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.
  2. A full update will need to be sent to all Touch POS devices that require the update.

 

Pre-Requisites

 

  1. Ensure the Function Price Change Connect POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.

 

Operation

 

  1. Make a Product Active/Inactive

 

  1. in Touch, select the Price Change Connect POS Key.
  2. The Price Change Connect screen is displayed.
  3. Select New.
  4. Select Add Item to add a row in the grid.
  5. The Product search screen will be displayed to select a Product.
  6. Once the Product has been added to the grid, select the Active checkbox to Activate/Deactivate the Product.
  7. Select Save to ensure the change is saved. The following will be displayed:
     

 

  1. Select Yes to continue. The following message will be displayed.
     

 

  1. Select OK. The following message will be displayed.
     

 

  1. Select Close to exit and return to Touch.
  2. Ensure a full update is sent to Touch.
