Description
This feature is used to export Sales (Scan) data from SwiftPOS Back Office. The data exported is picked up by the Liquorfile interface in Australia for the different buying groups. Use this screen to configure the required settings, as well as to run an ad-hoc export of data. Exporting can also be included as part of the End of Day process.
To Be Considered
- Fixed File Name Variables can be used to extend the file naming options of the CSV files generated by the export when used in conjunction with the EOD. This feature is available as part of Batch Reports.
Pre-Requisites
- Ensure the Scan Data Group Prefix is configured for each Location Group (Venue). This prefix is used in the naming of the CSV files generated by the export process. For more information ... Note : If this is NOT set for a particular Location Group (Venue), then no data will be exported for that LG.

Export Filters
- From/To - Select from the drop down calendar the date range for which sales data is to be exported. An export (CSV type) file will be created for each day in the date range selected that had sales specified.
- Location Group - Select from the drop down list the Location Group (Venue) for which sales data is to be exported or select << ALL >.
- Location - Select from the drop down list the Location for which sales data is to be exported or select << ALL >.
- Export Path - Select/Enter the path/folder to which the exported sales data will be written. The path/folder entered should be the same folder that is used for transferring data to the Liquorfile interface. Contact Liquorfile support if unsure.
Footer
- Export - Select to export sales data based on the Export Filters selected. Sales data will be exported in the form of a CSV type files and placed in the Export Path selected. - Close - Select to exit.
Export Scan Data File Format
Sales data is exported in a CSV type file with the following naming convention: XXXDDMMYYYY.CSV - where XXX is the Scan Data Group Prefix and DDMMYYYY is the date for each day of sales data exported.
