Scheduled Keyboard Layouts

Description

 

This feature is used to Schedule Keyboard Layouts to ensure default (Home) Keyboard Layouts are automatically changed at specified times. This can be useful for sites that want to display a Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Keyboard Layout at different times during the day.

 


Scheduled Keyboard Layouts

 

 

This screen is accessed from here.

 

Keyboards or Layouts can be scheduled to change effective from a selected date, or on selected days of the week, and at a specific time.

 

Grid

 

The grid displays the: Location/Terminal, Description, Layout/Keyboard, Object/Name, Type, Execute and Change Time. Note : To edit an entry in the grid, double click a row. Rows displayed in the grid can be sorted by toggle selecting the column headings.

 

Footer

 

  • Add - Select to open the Default Layout Changes screen to create a new Schedule entry.
  • Edit - Select to open the Default Layout Changes screen to edit the selected Schedule entry.
  • Delete - Select to remove the selected Schedule entry.
  • Close - Select to exit.

Description and Destination

 

  • Description - Displays/Enter a description for the Schedule.
  • Location - Select from the drop down list the Location to which the Schedule is applicable. Note : This will affect all SwiftPOS Touch terminals assigned to the selected Location.
    OR
  • Terminal - Select from the drop down list the the Touch Terminal to which the Schedule is applicable.

 

Layout Change Type

 

  • Change on a Date - Select from the drop down calendar the date from which the Scheduled change is to take affect.
  • Change on Selected Days - Select specific Days on which the Scheduled change is to take affect.

 

Time and Object Type

 

  • Time - Displays/Set the time at which the Scheduled change is to take affect.
  • Layout - Select from the drop down list the Layout that will become the Home Layout.
    OR
  • Keyboard - Select from the drop down list the Keyboard that will become the default.

 

Footer

 

  • Save - Select to save and exit.
  • Cancel - Select to exit without saving.
