Touch > Dispense Vending Product (#97), Get Vending Code (#73), View Vending Codes (#72) and View Vending Products (#98) POS Keys.

 

Description

 

Used to in conjunction with Third Party Vending Peripherals such as Free Wifi, Range Express, Range Servant, VDMS Dispenser, Brunswick and Intercard.

 


Third Party Vending Machine Settings

  • Vending Type - Select from the drop down list one of the following:
     
    • Free Wifi - Used to configure Free WiFi offerings for Cafes/Restaurants/Retail/etc.
    • Range Express - Used at Golf Clubs to integrate with Golf Ball Vending Machine provided for patrons to redeem Golf Balls.
    • Range Servant - Used at Golf Clubs to integrate with Golf Ball Vending Machine provided for patrons to redeem Golf Balls.
    • Range Servant 2 - Used at Golf Clubs to integrate with Golf Ball Vending Machine provided for patrons to redeem Golf Balls.
    • VDMS Dispenser - Used mainly for the dispensing of Tobacco Products.
    • Brunswick Lanes - Used at Bowling Alleys to integrate with Brunswick.
    • Intercard - Used at Arcade Gaming venues to sell games/rides etc.

 

Free WiFi

 


Accessed from here and used to configure Free WiFi offerings for Cafes/Restaurants/Retail/etc.

 

Setup

 

  1. Create a Product that will be added to a sale at the POS in order to issue the Access numbers.
  2. Ensure the Function Dispense Vending Product, (#97) POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.
     
    1. In the More Settings associated with the POS Key, ensure:
       

 

  • Vending Type - Ensure the Free Wifi listed option is selected.
  • Linked Product - Select/Enter the Product (created in step 1 above).

 

  1. Rename the supplied *.csv to freewifi.csv
  2. Place file in the SwiftPOS Touch Outbox folder of the Table tracking Master terminal, by right clicking on the terminal in the Touch POS Terminals screen in the SwiftPOS Back Office. Then select the Open terminal folder for browsing option and select the Outbox folder listed in the drop down list. This will now populate the Tables in Table Tracking.
  3. Sell the Product (created in step 2 above) and then use the Third Party Vending key to issue the Access Numbers.
  4. You need to set up Tickets in Tools>Terminal Settings>Tickets adding the Vending Code Variable to your Ticket Setup (Graphical Only).

 

Range Express

  • Pin Number - Select from the drop down list.

  • No. of Balls - Enter/set the number of Balls.
  • No. of Days - Enter/Set the number of days.

 

  1. Configure the RS232 details for communication with the Range Servant machine.

VDMS Dispenser

 

 

Accessed from here and used mainly for the dispensing of Tobacco Products.
NOTE - The Inventory Code is sent to the Vending Machine as the Barcodes are subject to change.

 
Setup

 

  1. Create a Product that will be added to a sale at the POS in order to sell Golf Balls.
  2. Ensure the Function Dispense Vending Product, (#97) POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.
     
    1. In the More Settings associated with the POS Key, ensure:
       

 

  • Vending Type - Ensure the Range Express listed option is selected.
  • Linked Product - Select/Enter the Product (created in step 1 above).
  • Search Type - Select from the drop down list.
  • Show Stock Level - Select to ensure the SOH value is visible.

 

Brunswick Lanes

 

 

Accessed from here and used at Bowling Alleys to integrate with Brunswick.

 

Setup

 

  1. Create a Product that will be used to sell a Bowling Lane. Ensure the Price is appropriately set.
  2. Ensure the Function Dispense Vending Product, (#97) POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.
     
    1. In the More Settings associated with the POS Key, ensure:
       

 

  • Vending Type - Ensure the Brunswick listed option is selected.
  • Linked Product - Select/Enter the Product (created in step 1 above).
  • Lane Number - Enter/Set the  Lane Number. Note : A value of 0 will result in the Clerk/Staff Member being prompted for the selection of the Lane Number. Otherwise set it a specific Lane number to avoid prompting.
  • No. of Games - Enter/Set the number of games being sold.
  • Code - Enter the appropriate Code provided by the Vendor.
 
Operation

 

  1. Select the Dispense Vending Product POS Key at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.
  2. If required select the Lane Number.
  3. Finalise the sale.

 

Intercard

 

 

Accessed from here and used at Arcade Gaming type venues to sell games/rides etc.

 

  • URL - Displays/Enter the URL provided to establish connection to the Intercard's API.

 

Setup

 

  1. Create  Products that will be used to sell Intercard offerings. Ensure the Price is appropriately set.
  2. Ensure the Function Dispense Vending Product, (#97) POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.
     
    1. In the More Settings associated with the POS Key, ensure:
       

 

  • Vending Type - Select from the drop down list the Intercard option.
  • Linked Product - Search/Enter one of the Products (created in step 1 above).
  • Function - Select from the drop down list one of the following:
    • Top-Up Card
    • Gate Access
    • Package
  • Code - Enter the appropriate Code provided by the Vendor.
  • Value - Displays/Enter the appropriate Value associated with the game/ride being configured. For example, this maybe the number of rides permitted or the gaming time in minutes.
  • Bonus Cash - Displays/Enter the bonus cash value applicable.

  • Vending Type - Select from the drop down list one of the following Types:
     

 

  • Linked Product - Select to link the Product to be sold.
     
  • The remaining settings will need to be configured depending on the Vending Type selected above.
