Description
This menu item provides the ability to configure/customise Ticket settings at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal. Barrel Draw Printing - using the Members Only Check Box option.
Any number of Tickets can be created as they are based on Families in the SwiftPOS Back Office. Tickets can be given a name and a trigger amount. The trigger amount will trigger the ticket to be printed when the sale has been finalised and the sale amount (for that Family of Products sold) is equal to or greater than the trigger amount. The ticket will print after the tax invoice/receipt has printed.
Tickets can be configured based on the quantity or dollar value sold. Single or multiple tickets can be printed per trigger event.
Any printing options that are available in the printer settings are also available to print on the ticket.
- Enhanced to include graphical printing (USB or Ethernet Printer required) for the inclusion of logos and graphics for printing on specialised ticket printers as well as standard thermal printers.

If Graphical Printing is selected in the Ticket Setup screen, then tickets can be created to include background graphics to suit specific ticket printing requirements. Any type of specialised ticket printer can be used to print tickets, so long as they have a Windows device driver.
If you wish to move these around between SwiftPOS Touch terminals, you can just copy the "Vouchers.xml" file.
How to print out a Membership Form
- Create a SwiftPOS Ticket in the format of a "New Registration" or "Registration Update" form with email and mobile phone number fields.
- For New Members where you are issuing a Member Loyalty Card, you can create a new customer and swipe the card into the Member ID field. For existing Members you would swipe their card into the sale before you print the ticket.
- Select a button to print out the ticket with their existing customer ID and Customer Name on it.
- Print it out and give it to the customer with a pen to fill out and the staff member can then type it into the "Edit Customer" field at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal. If it is a site that is running Gaming then they may have to enter it in their Gaming System.
Cloak Room POS
Description
Attendee cloakrooms, or coat checks, are staffed rooms where coats and bags can be stored securely. Typically, a ticket or receipt is given to the customer, with a corresponding ticket attached to the garment or item.
Coat checks are often found at the entrances to nightclubs, larger restaurants, or museums. A nominal fee may be charged, or a tip is usually paid by the customer when they reclaim their item. Some coat checks post signs disclaiming any fees or tips, especially when their use is mandatory (as in many museums).
How it works
For each type of item that is collected off the customer, you create a ticket so it can be attached to the item in the cloakroom. This feature works well with sticky labels as well especially when you take items like mobile phones and jewellery items. (Theme Parks)
An individual ticket will print for item that has been left in the cloak room and the receipt prints for the customer including the terms and conditions of leaving the items in the cloak room.
If you need to add a location reference, then you add a "String PLU" to the items and print the string PLU's onto the Receipt. When the customer brings the receipt back then the staff can check the reference to quickly find the item.
Adding Warranty Conditions on a Receipt with selected purchases
The customer requires an option in the receipt footer if a Product is sold in the sale from a specific Family that a message is added to the receipt footer.
This is being done if an electrical item is sold, the terms and conditions for the warranty are printed in the receipt but if a customer only buys a chocolate bar you don?t need the electrical terms and conditions.
The trigger would only need to fire once in the sale even if there were multiple items from the same Family.
You would also need the ability for a stacked message to be available e.g. Plants Family would have different conditions to the electrical Family but if a customer bought from both Families you would need both terms and conditions.
