Custom Export

Description

 

This menu item is used to export data from Back Office database tables to CSV files. Used to either alter and re-import, or for sending data to 3rd party applications.

 

Custom Export

 

 

Header

 

  • File Type - Select the type of file to be exported. Currently only a CSV file type can be selected.
  • Add All - Select to add all the fields from the selected table to the grid.
  • Load Spec - Select to load a previously Saved Spec.
  • Export - Select to open the importing of the data.
  • Table - Select from the drop-down list the Back Office database table to be exported.
  • Remove All - Select to clear the grid.
  • Save Spec - Select to save the current export configuration (spec) displayed for loading at a later date.
  • Close - Select to exit.

 

Grid

 

  • Field - Displays all the fields of the selected table.
  • Unique - Displays those database fields that are unique. That is, the data exported will contain only unique values.
  • Data Type - Displays the data type of the database fields.

 

Operation

 

  1. Select the Table to be exported into.
  2. Select the Add All button.
  3. Select the Export button.
