Description
This menu item is used to create a zipped depersonalised backup copy of the selected SwiftPOS Database to send to Support. Designed to ensure that prior to transferring/sending a database to SwiftPOS Support, the data is depersonalised to ensure the loss of private data is mitigated during the transfer/send. Customer/Member address, contact details, etc are removed as part of this process.
Depersonalise Database
General Information Options
- Help Desk Ticket Number - Enter the Ticket No provided by SwiftPOS Support here, that is associated with the database request.
- Temp Backup Filename - Select to select the Folder in which the depersonalised database will be created. The zipped file will be created with the name displayed.
- Selected database size - Displays the selected database's size.
- Temp Database Name - Displays the path and file name of the generated depersonalised database backup.
- Replace Email Address - Enter the email address that will be used to replace email addresses contained within the selected database.
Footer
- Secure Upload - Select to upload the depersonalised database. Note : This button will only be enabled once a Depersonalised database has been created.
- Depersonalise - Select to create a depersonalised database.
