NetPOS.Net Test Confirmation

The integration between Point of Sale Software and Gaming Systems rely on processes that occur in the background after the sales process has been completed at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal. Because this integration occurs between different versions of Gaming Software and POS Software that are developed by different organisations, the features that are implemented may vary from site to site. To check that the features are working correctly, it is important to test the operation each time there is any changes made with the Gaming Software and Point of Sale software.

POS Sales

Are the correct points being awarded for a sale at the POS?  Yes / No

Is tiered loyalty in operation at this venue?   Yes / No 

If so, are the correct points being awarded for each loyalty tier?   Yes / No  

Are the correct points being credited for a credit sale at the POS?  Yes / No  

Are the correct points being redeemed in a sale?  Yes / No    

Are the correct points returned for a credit redemption?   Yes / No 

Members

Is Link-To enabled in the NetPOS.Net interfaces?   Yes / No    

Are the correct mapped member details returned at the POS?   Yes / No 

Are new members created / imported correctly?   Yes / No  

Are modified members updated / imported correctly?   Yes / No    

Are member changes syncing to the gaming system?   Yes / No  

Front Office

Are room / customer look-ups returning correct details at the POS?   Yes / No 

Are room / customer charges processing correctly?   Yes / No

Weekly or Monthly Reconciliation

At the end of each week, you can check your Points Awarded for the period against the points report in your Gaming System. Please remember that if the Gaming System is offline than there maybe points transactions that have to be posted manually to the Gaming System. Redemptions are live but points awarded are dependent on the Gaming System being available when the transactions are processed. The NetPOS.Net log files will provide a detailed history of the events that have occurred during the period.
