Description

 

This menu item is used to reset the SwiftPOS Table Tracking database and upgrade it to the latest version.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. Note : If SwiftPOS Back Office was NOT invoked/run with Administrator rights, then the following prompt will be displayed:

 

 

To avoid this, the SwiftPOS Back Office application/shortcut can be set to always Run as Administrator. For more information ...

 

  1. Effectively, the reset and upgrade reapplies any database changes since that last major version. This will mean that any database scripts (.SSS files) executed since the last major version will be overwritten.
  2. A reset and upgrade should only be done when instructed to do so by your reseller or SwiftPOS support staff.

 


Operation

 

  1. When invoked the following prompt will be displayed:
     


  1. Select Yes to commence the upgrade.
