Keyboard Layouts

Description

This document provides an overview of the Keyboard Layout Templates available within SwiftPOS.

Before creating any Keyboards, choose a Keyboard Layout that suits your requirements. This is very important because once you have set up that Keyboard style then it is best to stick with a single Layout to avoid confusion. The Layouts are now fully customisable. The preview panel will update in real time so you can see the Layout changes as you apply them.

    • Hide Tools - Select to hide the Touch Toolbar. Mainly used with Order Kiosks. Note : If selected, this option will need a Magnetic Card Swipe or RFID Clerk Reader installed and operating to enable access to the Touch Toolbar to exit the software.
    • Default Banner Message - Displays/Enter the message that will appear instead of the Touch Toolbar when the Hide Tools option is selected.
