Description

 

This menu item is used to configure the printer settings for the Label Printer. The Label Printer is used to print Product/Price labels from a SwiftPOS Touch terminal. Can be used to print labels for Deli, Fruit, Vegetables, Fish, Meat, etc Products generally sold over the counter.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. If required, restricting access to these POS Keys can be managed by Clerk Security.
  2. Prices of Products assigned to a Special/Promotion or Happy Hour cannot be changed.
  3. If required, enforcing Clerks/Staff at the SwiftPOS Touch terminals to provide reasons for the price change can be achieved by ensuring that the Enforce Reason Code settings have been configured. These settings are accessed from here.
  4. Note : The Local Price Change will be reset the next time a Full Update is done at the same SwiftPOS Touch terminal.

 


Pre-Requisites

 

  1. Ensure a Label Printer has been configured as a Peripheral at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.
  2. Ensure the Function Label Mode POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.

  • Print Device - Select the appropriate printer at which Floor Dockets will be printed.
  • Disabled - Select to enable/disable the Printer. Settings will be maintained while disabled.
  • Backup Printer - Select to make use of the Backup Printer feature. For more information ...
  • Printers - Select to open the Printer Devices screen to configure Printer Device Settings for the selected Printer.
  • Label Design - Select to open the Label Design screen to configure Label layouts.
  • Save - Select to save any changes and exit.
  • Cancel - Select to exit without saving.
