Peripheral - Barrel Promotion Printer

Description

 

This menu item is used to configure the printer settings for the Barrel Promotion Printer. The Barrel Promotion Printer is used to print Barrel Promotion Tickets earned for placing in a Barrel for Drawing a winner later. It is likely that it would be a shared network printer that is designed to automatically drop the tickets into the barrel for a major prize draw.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. Sites with more than one SwiftPOS Touch terminal should configure their printers in the SwiftPOS Back Office here.

 

Pre-Requisites

 

  1. Ensure the Customer Settings > Misc > Barrel Promotions settings are configured as required.
  2. If no Barrel Promotion Printer exists in the list of Peripherals, then it will need to be added.

  • Print Device - Select the appropriate printer at which Receipts will be printed.
  • Backup Printer - Select to make use of the Backup Printer feature. For more information ...
  • Printers - Select to open the Printer Devices screen to configure Printer Device Settings for the selected Printer.
  • Printer Number - Displays/Enter the number identifying the Printer to be used to print Barrel Draw Tickets.
