SwiftPOS Back Office is a suite of software modules that manages all SwiftPOS Back Office Point of Sale (POS) functions and connects SwiftPOS Touch terminals together offering a total POS solution.

Backup Security

 

SwiftPOS is based on Microsoft SQL Server which means that you can backup up while the software is in operation, as often as you like. The SwiftPOS Touch terminals are designed to run stand-alone so there is no central point of failure. All the SwiftPOS Touch terminals can be backed up regularly to the server and the SwiftPOS Touch terminals will also hold the last 7 days sales information in the event that the server is beyond repair. In addition to this, we have an automated backup process available within SwiftPOS that will back up your critical databases or data tables to a remote server located off the premises or to a backup server. This runs as a service and can be run in asynchronous mode. It uses a method of file backup that only moves the raw data and not the entire database with index files and larger overheads. Overall, SwiftPOS caters for any sized operation and will ensure that you remain operational with minimal down time in the event of power failures and other hardware failures.

 

Clerks/Staff

 

  • Clerks/Staff are assigned to Clerk/Staff Groups and Security Access Groups for secure access at SwiftPOS Touch terminals and in SwiftPOS Back Office.
  • Clerks can have individual login passwords.
  • Extensive clerk reporting based on Product Group sales.
  • Search facility to view any sales transactions for a particular Clerk.
  • View and edit Clock On, Clock Off and start/end break data from the SwiftPOS Touch terminals to produce accurate records of staff hours worked.

Net-POS Gaming Interface

 

  • The Net-POS Gaming interface software allows Sites/Venues to fully integrate their Poker Machine loyalty system with their Bars and Restaurants so that Member's can use one card anywhere in the Business/Venue and be rewarded for doing so, not just on the poker machines. This encourages Member's to use all the facilities within the Business/Venue and not just one area. It is subject to gaming regulations in different States and Countries.
  • Net-POS links the following gaming systems to the SwiftPOS Touch terminals.
