Buy a Coffee and enter a random draw to receive a FREE Coffee on your next visit

 

The following is a setup example of a Voucher for an ongoing promotional offer to customers.

 

The Scenario

 

When a customer buys a coffee they automatically enter a random draw to receive a FREE coffee on their next visit. The customers are required to present the Voucher in order to receive the free coffee.

 

The Setup Required

 

  1. Create a Voucher Layout for the Voucher that the customer is required to present at the checkout.
     

 

Note : If a the Voucher has a Barcode, make sure a Barcode scanner has been setup at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal to enable the scanning of the Voucher on redemption.

 

  1. Create a Voucher Action to be taken at the time the Voucher is redeemed.
     

 

  1. Create Voucher Parameters to control the issuing and redemption of the above Voucher.
     

 

  1. Assign the action to the Voucher.
     

 

Notes

 

  1. The Voucher can be used only once and can be redeemed by anyone who presents it at the checkout.
  2. The value of 20 in the Draw Odds field above means that customers will have a 1 in 20 chance of receiving a Free Coffee Voucher when they buy a coffee.
