Make 10 Purchases and Receive a Loyalty Rewards Voucher

The following is a setup example of a Member Campaign and a Voucher for an ongoing loyalty rewards program to Customer/Members only.

To Be Considered

  1. The value of the Loyalty Rewards Voucher is calculated on the total value paid over the 10 purchases. This means the value redeemed, from previously issued Vouchers, does not form part of the Loyalty Rewards calculation. For example, if a Stored Value Voucher to the value of $15 is being redeemed against a purchase totalling $65, then the Loyalty Reward value calculated will be based on the $65 and not $50 (ie. $65 - $15).
  2. A Refund of one of the 10 purchases will reduce the number of purchases count by 1. This means that 11 purchase transactions will be needed to trigger the Voucher.

The Scenario

When Customer/Members make 10 purchases (separate sale transactions) they will receive a Loyalty Rewards Voucher to the value of 10% of the total purchases made over those 10 visits. For example, if they made purchases to the value of $300 over the last 10 visits, they will receive a Voucher to the value of $30 on their 10th purchase.

Operation

  1. To issue the Voucher - At the Touch terminal make 10 separate sales of items in the Family selected in the Member Campaign to a Customer/Member. A Loyalty Rewards Voucher should be issued to the value of 10% of the total sales value of the 10 sales. See sample below.
  2. To redeem the Voucher - At the Touch terminal enter the Customer/Member and scan the Voucher.
  3. Sell Products to the Customer/Member and then redeem the Voucher by pressing the Stored Value Charge POS Key. If the Voucher is redeemed partially a prompt will appear at the Touch to return the Voucher to the Customer/Member. The alternative is to reprint the Voucher with the new balance. This can be done via the Voucher Info POS Key (You will need to enter the Customer/Member, select the Voucher Info POS Key and scan the original Voucher again, then click Print).
