The following is a setup example of a Voucher for a limited special offer to customers that present a newspaper Voucher.
The Scenario
When a customer buys a Game of Golf, they will be issued with a Voucher entitling them to 1 FREE schooner of any Beer on Tap. The Voucher is valid for 1 day.
The Setup Required
- If required create a Family and assign all schooners of Beer on Tap to it.
- Create a Voucher Layout for the Voucher that is to be issued to the Customer.

Note : If the Voucher has a Barcode, make sure a Barcode scanner has been setup at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal to enable the scanning of the Voucher on redemption. |
- Create a Voucher Action.

- Create Voucher Parameters to control the issuing and redemption of the above Voucher.

Note : The Issue parameters are disabled, as the Voucher will be issued manually (see Operation below) and then printed in local newspapers. |
- Assign the Voucher Action created above as an action to the Voucher.

Operation
- Sell a Game of Golf at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal, the above Voucher should be issued.
- At the SwiftPOS Touch terminal, scan the Voucher, and select one of the Beers presented.

- Finalise the sale.
