Description

 

The Web Products tab provides the ability to add/edit/search/view Products via the Web. Similar to the Product Quick Edit. SwiftPOS Web Products requires the licenced SwiftPOS Web Reports module to operate.

 

This document provides screenshot examples of Web Products. SwiftPOS Products is available as part of the SwiftPOS Web Reports module.

 

Products

 

 

Header

 

  • Location - Select from the drop down list to filter the Products displayed in the grid by Location.
  • Add Product - Select to add a New Product row at the top of the Products displayed in the Grid. Simply enter the information for the Product. Any fields where duplicates are not allowed, for example : PLU, Barcode, etc, will be validated upon entry.
  • Save Changes - Select to save changes.
  • Undo Changes - Select to undo the changes since the last save.

 

Grid

 

The Products and their details are displayed here. The information displayed includes Product Code, Description, PLU, Product Group, Category, Barcode, POS Display, Cost and Pricing information.

 

To edit a Product, simply click on the fields opposite it to change their values. For fields with a pre-defined selection (For example, Product Group and Category), select from the drop down list the required value. Once changed a red triangle (see below) will appear in the top left hand corner of the field to indicate the data has been changed. Save or Undo the changes as required.

 

  • Column Headings - Select the drop down arrow to the right of the column heading to select the following:

 

  • Filter - Select to display the following filter screen:
     


  • Find Fields - The Find fields above the grid will automatically sort the rows in the grid by the field selected. Entering a value into in any one of the Find fields will cause the closest matching row to be highlighted.
