Description
This menu item is used for setting the minimum and maximum reorder Levels for all Stocked Products. The Levels Wizard looks at Product sales history over a selected time period and then calculates the recommended minimum and maximum order levels based on the sales that have occurred for each Product in the period. The Levels Wizard exclusively relies on the wizard to automatically build a list of suitable Products, rather than allowing the manual entry of Products.

Header
- Posting Date - Select the calendar icon to select the Posting Date required for the New Min/Max Stock Levels to take effect.
Grid
- Product Code - Displays the Product Code of the Product.
- Description - Displays the Description of the Product.
- Dest Location - Displays the Location where the New Min/Max Stock Levels will take effect.
- Min - Displays the current minimum Stock level.
- Max - Displays the current maximum Stock Level.
- New Min - Displays the new calculated minimum Stock level. This value can be modified.
- New Max - Displays the new calculated maximum Stock Level. This value can be modified.
Footer
- Commit - Select to commit the new Min/Max Stock levels in the grid. To commit at a later date adjust the Posting Date above.
- Reset - Select to clear the grid.
- Wizard - Select to invoke the Wizard to build a list of Products and quickly calculate their new Min/Max Stock levels based on sales history. For more information ...
- Close - Select to exit.
Product Order Level Wizard
The Product Order Level Wizard has been designed to be simple and easy to use. Please review the following guide for details on using the wizard:
Date Range
- Start/End Date - Select a period from the drop down list or select the Start/End date from the drop down calendar to set the date range for which the sales history of Products will be interrogated in order to calculate the new Min/Max Stock levels.
Footer
- Back - Select to return to the previous step.
- Next - Select to proceed to the next step.
- Finish - Select to run the wizard.
- Cancel - Select to exit the wizard without running it.
Locations
- From/To Location - Select to set the range of Locations for which the sales history of Products will be interrogated in order to calculate the new Min/Max Stock levels. The default is ALL Locations Note : This setting does not determine the Location(s) where the new Min/Max Stock levels will be applied.
Groups
- From/To Group - Select to set the range of Product Groups to which the Products that are assigned and to which the new Min/Max Stock Levels will be applied. This effectively acts as a filter. The default is ALL Groups.
Families
- Family - Select a Family of Products to which the new Min/Max Stock Levels will be applied. This effectively acts as a filter. The default is ALL Families.
Min and Max
- Min/Max Days Stock - Enter the minimum and maximum number of days for which Stock is required.
Finish
- Destination Location - Select from the drop down list the Location in which the new Min/Max Stock levels will be applied.
- Exclude Products that have not sold in the selected range - Select to exclude.
