Description

 

The Web Reports tab provides the ability to run/export reports via the Web and are primarily designed for Cafe/Franchise/Multi-Store type sites with the emphasis on sales and customer counts.

Pre-Requisites

 

  1. To make use of this feature, sites will need to be registered for the Web Reports module.

 


Reports

 

 

Select the Reports tab to access the available Reports.

 

  • Date Range / From/To Date - Select a Date Range
     
  • Location - Select from the drop down list a Location (Venue). Note : Security access will determine which Venues can be selected.
     
  • Reports - Select a Report form the available reports listed.
     
  • Run Report - Select to run the selected report.
     
  • Pivot Export - Select to export the report to Excel. For more information ...

 


Pivot Export

 

A Pivot Table report is an interactive way to quickly summarize large amounts of data. To do this, do as follows:

 

  1. Simply run the selected report with the appropriate filters selected, then select the Pivot Export button on the right. This will export the selected report into an Excel file.
  2. Open the Excel file in Excel to view the Pivot Table report.
     

 

  1. Use the panel on the right to customise the report and modify which fields are shown etc.

 

Custom Web Reports

 

SwiftPOS develops Custom Web Reports at an additional cost.

 


Operation

 

This is how custom reports work for web reports:

 

  1. To create a Custom Web Report, the following need to be undertaken:

 

  1. Engage SwiftPOS to develop a Custom Web Report.
  2. Once the developed custom Web Report is received from SwiftPOS. For example, in the case of a developed Custom Group Sales Excluding Tax Web Report, the file Group Sales Ex Tax.trdx, will be provided by SwiftPOS.
  3. The report file must then be placed in the App_Data\Reports folder, where Web Apps is installed. The Customer determines which folder in Web Reports it shows up under. For example, in this case the folder chosen is Sales.
     


  1. Log into Web Reports and run the custom report.
