Description

 

This menu item is used to reset the SwiftPOS Database, by clearing the data in selected tables or clearing all data.

 


Reset Database

 

 

Grid

 

  • Clear All Transaction Data - Select to clear all Transaction data. For example, Sales, Banking, Logs, etc.
  • Clear All Member / Clerk / Loyalty Data - Select to clear all Members, Accounts, Clerks, Loyalty data and Classifications will be cleared.
  • Clear All Suppliers / Manufacturer Data - Select to clear all Supplier and Manufacturer data. Products linked to a Supplier will not be removed.
  • Clear All Unused Data - Select to clear all Inactive Products, Unassigned Categories and Groups. Unassigned Family(s), Inactive Promotions, Member Classifications, Groups and Inactive Campaigns.
  • Clear All Marketing Data - Select to clear all Vouchers, Campaigns, Promotions, Happy Hours, Barrel Draws, Mix n Match, Discounts, Surcharges and Barrel Promotions.
  • Clear All Excluding - Select to clear all data execept for Products, Groups, Master Groups, Categories, Barcodes, First 10 Price Levels, Keyboards and Peripherals.
  • Clear All - Select to clear all data and reset defaults. This is the same as creating a blank database.
  • Reset All Defaults - Select to reset all defaults.

  • Start Now - Select to start the reset of the database.
  • Close - Select to exit.
