Touch > Clear All Sale Discounts (#23) POS Key

Description

Used to clear a previously applied Sale Discount.

To Be Considered

1. If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.
2. Note : This POS Key will not clear Discounts applied to individual items in a sale.

Pre-Requisites

1. Ensure the Function Clear All Sale Discounts POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.
2. Ensure the Function Subtotal POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Keyboard Designer in the SwiftPOS Back Office.
3. Ensure the Discount POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Keyboard Designer in the SwiftPOS Back Office.

Operation

1. At the SwiftPOS Touch terminal make a sale of multiple items.
2. Select the Subtotal POS Key.
3. Discount POS Key and apply a discount. A Sale Discount amount appears at the bottom of the sales grid.
    

4. Select the Clear All Sale Discounts POS Key. This will clear the applied discount and set the Sale Discount amount to zero. The discount can now be applied again if required, by repeating steps 2 and 3 above.
