5 Entry visit to Gym or Pool

 

The following is a setup example of a Reception Terminal to cater for the purchasing of entry visits.

 

The Scenario

 

Members can pre-purchase multiple entry visits to a Business/Venue. For example a Gym or Pool. Whenever a member swipes at the reception terminal the number of visits are tracked against the number purchased and when all pre-purchased entry visits are used up a 'Visit not Validated' will appear at the reception terminal.

 

The Setup Required

 

  1. Create a Product to cater for the selling of multiple entry visits to the Pool.
     


  1. Create a Multi Link (Macro) POS Key for the SwiftPOS Touch to cater for the selling of Pool entry visits with the following properties.
     


  1. Click the Multi Link Events button in the button properties above and add the following Products.
     
  1. The Pool Entry Product as created above.
  2. The PLU 20000 Entry Fee (Non diminishing) Product. This will ensure that the Remaining Visits held against the member is increased each time a Pool Entry is sold. Make sure that the 'Don't print comments on receipt' under the Additional Setting button is checked.
     


  1. Click the More Settings button in the button properties above and check the 'Apply Qty to all product' option. This will ensure that the number of Pool Entries sold will also increase the Remaining Visits held against the member by the same number.
     


  1. At the Reception terminal, in Options, ensure the following :
     
  1. Under Member Checks ensure the Visit Check option is checked. The appropriate Member Classifications are selected by clicking the Classifications button. The PLU field contains the PLU number 19992. This will ensure that the Remaining Visits held against the Member is decreased each time a member swipes their member card.
