Sell Fuel and Swiftpos Touch will calculate the litres sold and print it on the Receipt
It is now possible for Fuel retailers to enter the value of the Fuel sold, and Swiftpos Touch will calculate the quantity sold. To do this ensure the following are configured:
- Ensure the Fuel Products on offer, are quantity based. That is the Qty based PLU setting is selected.
- in Touch, ensure the Calculate Qty from Dollar Value is selected.
Note : This feature provides Fuel retailers, to enter the value of the Fuel sold and also apply a 4c/litre Discount based on the calculated quantity. Refer HERE.for an example.
Operation
- in Touch, sell a Qty based PLU Product (Fuel) or scan a 02 Barcode.
- A prompt is displayed to allow the entry of the value of sale. Enter the value.
- The quantity sold will then be calculated based on the value entered and the selling price of the Product as set in Back Office.
- The calculated quantity will be displayed in the sales grid in Touch.
