Description
This menu item enables the viewing of all sales data since the start of the trading day in the SwiftPOS Back Office. This is sales data since this menu item has been opened, up until the current time. See Dashboards for a more powerful solution and dashboards at the POS.

- Note : Data values displayed here will only be based on sales that have been processed in the SwiftPOS Back Office by Sales Processing Service.
Live Sales
Header
- Drop Down Lists - The filter fields of this type are: Update Interval, Location Group, Location and Terminal Type.
- Full/Partial Texts - The filter fields of this type are: Terminal ID and Terminal Name.
- Full/Partial Numbers - The filter fields of this type are: Terminal ID.

Noteworthy
- Update Interval - Select from the drop down list the frequency that the data displayed in the Live Sales screen will be updated/refreshed. For example 30 Seconds means the data will be updated/refreshed every 30 seconds.
- Expand Groups - Select to Expand all groups in the grid. See below for further information re the Grouping.
- Collapse Groups - Select to Collapse all groups in the grid. See below for further information re the Grouping.
- Column Chooser - Use the Column Chooser to add or remove columns from the grid. See below for further information re the Column Chooser.
Grid
The grid displays the columns that have been selected using the Column Chooser button above. For more information ... Values displayed will be refreshed as per the Update Interval configured above. Note : Individual columns in the grid can be widened and narrowed by dragging the vertical border of a column either left or right.
Footer
- Close - Select to exit.
Grouping
- To create Groups simply drag a column heading into the line above the column headings that contains the text "Drag a column here to group by this column".
- To Expand/Collapse Groups use the Expand/Collapse Groups buttons in the Header section of the screen.
- To remove a Group Click on the X in the corner of the Group By box.
Column Chooser
Grid
- ID - Select the check box to select the Column to be added to the Live Sales screen grid. Unselect the checkbox to remove the Column from the Live Sales screen grid. Note : Media Type columns appear in the Live Sales screen in order of the Media Type Number and NOT the Media Name.
- Description - Displays the name of the Columns available to be added/removed to/from the Live Sales screen grid.
Footer
- Check All - Select to select all check boxes.
- UnCheck All - Select to unselect all check boxes.
- OK - Select to save any changes and exit.
- Cancel - Select to exit without saving changes.
Sorting
Toggle select column headings to sort the data in the grid.
Note : If Grouping is being used then the sorting is applied to the data within groups and not across groups.
