Reciped Items

 

Back Office >Products > Product Records > Product Full Edit > Reciped Items button.

 

Description

 

This feature is used to view those Reciped Items that are sourced from the Product selected. This button is only enabled when a Product is selected that has a Purchased Item Product type.

 


Reciped Items

 

 

Grid

 

  • Code - Displays the Product Code of the Reciped items listed.
  • Description - Displays the Product Description of the Reciped items listed.
  • Recipe Size - Displays/Set the size of the Reciped items listed.
  • UOM - Displays/Set the Unit of Measure (UOM) of the Reciped items listed.
  • Qty - Displays the quantity of the Reciped items listed as a portion of the parent Product.

 

Footer

 

  • Add - Select to add a Reciped item.
  • Delete - Select to delete the selected Reciped item.
  • Save - Select to save changes.
  • Save and Close - Select to save any changes and exit.
  • Close - Select to exit.

 

Sourced From Items

Description

 

The feature is used to setup Reciped Items and view the list of ingredients/Products making up a Reciped Item. This button is only enabled when a Product is selected that has a Reciped Item Product type.

In this example (above) the selected Product (Screwdriver Cocktail) is a Reciped Item and is being Sourced From the Ingredients/Products listed in the grid.

 

Grid

 

Lists the ingredients (Products having a Product type of Purchased item) that make up the Reciped Item.

 

  • Reciped Item - Displays the Product Code of the ingredients.
  • Description - Displays the Product Description of the ingredients.
  • Base Size - Displays the original size of the Sourced From Product (Purchased item or nested Recipe Item).
  • Base UOM - Displays the original UOM (unit of measure) of the Sourced From Product (Purchased item or nested Recipe Item).
  • Recipe Size - Displays the size of the ingredients being used in the Recipe. Note : Portions will be calculated dependent on the UOM selected. For example, Each to Packs, Grams to Kilograms or Millilitres to Litres, etc. Obviously conversion between Litres and Kilograms is not possible.
  • Recipe UOM - Displays the UOM of the ingredients being used in the Recipe.
  • Qty - Displays the quantity of the ingredients that are being used in the Recipe.
  • Avg Cost - Displays the average cost (across all Locations) based on the quantity or size of the ingredients that are being used in the recipe.
  • % of Cost - Displays Avg Cost of the Reciped Item as a percentage of the Total Cost of Ingredients.
  • Locations - Select to set the Locations from which stock for the ingredient will be sourced. The default is all Locations. When the Reciped Item (Screwdriver Cocktail) is sold in one of the selected Locations, the SOH will be diminished in that Location only.
  • Order Types - Select to set the Order Types applicable to the ingredient which will result in a stock draw down. For example : Take away packaging may not necessarily apply to Eat In order types and therefore for that ingredient the 'Eat In' order type would not be selected. The default is all.

 

Footer

 

  • Number of Servings - Select to set the number of servings the recipe and all its ingredients and their quantities will make. Default is 1. Changing this will change the Avg Cost Per Serve and the GP amounts displayed.
  • Avg Cost Price Per Serve - Displays the average cost price per serve calculated across all Locations in all Location Groups.
  • GP - Displays the gross profit as a percentage.
  • Total Cost of Ingredients - Displays the total cost of all the ingredients listed. Note : This field will only be displayed if all ingredients have All Locations selected. If one or more ingredients have specific Locations selected, then this field will not be visible, as it does not apply.
  • Selling Price Per Serve - Displays the selling price per serve as calculated by SwiftPOS Back Office and is based on the Normal selling price of the ingredients.

  • Add - Select to add an ingredient.
  • Delete - Select to delete the selected ingredient.
  • Save - Select to save changes.
  • Save and Close - Select to save any changes and exit.
  • Close - Select to exit.
