5 Visits and receive a FREE Coffee Voucher

 

The following is a setup example of a Member Campaign, Reception and a Voucher for an ongoing promotional offer to members only.

 

The Scenario

 

When Customer/Members visit the Business 5 times they will receive a FREE coffee Voucher. Members are required to present the Voucher in order to receive the free coffee.

 

The Setup Required

 

  1. Create a PLU to cater for the counting of the member visits.
     

 

  1. Because Member Campaigns can only be filtered by Product Families and not single Products, create a Family and assign the PLU created above to it. In this example a Family called 'Member Family' was created.
     


  1. Create a new Voucher, Voucher Action and Voucher Layout with the following settings. Create a  for the Voucher that the customer is required to present at the checkout.
     

 

Create Voucher Parameters to control the redemption of the above Voucher.

 

Note : The Issue Type is set to disabled, as the printing of the Voucher will be triggered by the Member Campaign below.

 

 

Create the Voucher Action to be taken at the time the Voucher is redeemed.

 

 

 Assign the action to the Voucher.

 

 

Note : If a the Voucher has a Barcode, make sure a Barcode scanner has been setup at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal to enable the scanning of the Voucher on redemption.


  1. Create a Member Campaign to control the issuing of the Free Coffee Voucher.
     


  1. At the Reception terminal, in Options, ensure the following :
     
  1. Under Member Checks ensure the Financial Check option is checked. The appropriate member Classifications are selected by clicking the Classifications button. The PLU field contains the PLU number created above.
  2. Under Member Checks ensure the Campaign Check option is checked. The appropriate member Classifications are selected by clicking the Classifications button.
  3. Under Entry Check ensure the Entry Check option is checked. Check the Restrict campaign checking option to ensure that members cannot swipe multiple times on the same day and hence be issued with a Voucher. Checking this option will ensure that one visit is restricted to one swipe per day.
     

 

Note : The PLU created above is entered opposite the Financial Check.

 

  1. Also at the Reception terminal in Peripherals ensure a Voucher printer has been setup to cater for the printing of the Voucher.

 

Notes

 

  1. The Voucher can be used only once and can only be redeemed by the member it was issued to.
