Mobile Operation

 

Description

 

This provides screenshot examples of the operation of a Swiftpos Mobile. Each time a Product is sold, the sales grid will be displayed to confirm the item purchased. Then selecting the Menu button will return to the Home Layout.

These are examples of Swiftpos Mobile Keyboard Layouts.

 

  • Customer - Select to search for a Customer/Member to include into the current sale. For more information ...
  • Price Levels - The Price Levels that have been set up in Task-Manager or Swiftpos will be displayed in this menu. It is recommended that you select all 10 Price Levels in Back Office. Choose from the available Price Levels and it will remain on that price level until you change it to another Price Level. The price level description is displayed in the main sales menu of the software.
  • Account Charge - Select to charge the sale amount to a Customer/Member's account.
  • Sales Grid - This will show you what items/products have already been rung up in Touch. You can toggle back to the Menu by pressing this key again.
  • 123...- This is the numeric keypad which includes the optional keys below the keypad for fast operation.
  • Tools - This menu takes you into the Tools where you can change all the settings.

 

Customer/Member Search

 

 

Often referred to as Accounts, Member or Loyalty Customers.

 

The Member Search screen allows the searching of Customer/Members in Back Office by Name or Number. Once found the Customer/Member will then be added to the sale, which in turn provides the option of charging the sale to their account.

 

The way that Customer/Member searches are done is in the Tools menu. The Customer/Member key can also be used to select a Customer/Member for a phone order or table tracking.

 

Clerk Sign In

 

 

Clerk/Staff are set up in Back Office with a Clerk ID and a password. In Touch there are a few settings that affect how Clerks/Staff login. Once a Clerk/Staff Member is logged in, all subsequent sales will be recorded against them in Back Office.
