Example of a Keyboard designed for Retail

This is an example of a Keyboard designed and configured for Retail type operations.

The POS Keys which appear down the left hand side of the screen are known as Fixed Keys and will appear on all Keyboard Layouts. They are best configured to include Finalise POS Keys and other functions that should be available for every Keyboard Layout. These can also be assigned shortcut keys (eg. F1, F2, F3, etc) to enable quick selection using the Qwerty keyboard.

Note : When assigning shortcut keys the Ctrl>M key combination should not be used.

The POS Keys which appear to the right of the sales grid are known as Free Keys and can be assigned to any Function, Layout, Finalise or Product POS Keys. In contrast to Fixed Keys, Free Keys These can be specific to a Keyboard layout or can be copied to multiple Layouts.
