Touch > Change Instruction (#109) POS Key

Description

Used to enable the changing of an instruction associated with an item sold that is still currently in the sales grid (ie. the sale has not yet been finalised).

Commonly used to change the cooking instruction for a main dish from, for example, Rare to Medium Rare.

To Be Considered

1. If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.

Pre-Requisites

1. Ensure the Function Change Instruction POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.

Operation

1. Select the instruction to be changed in the sales grid at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.
2. Select the Change Instruction POS Key.
3. Select from the menu presented the new instruction.
4. The instruction selected will replace the old one in the sales grid.
    

5. Finalise the sale.
