Location Stock Search Operation

Touch > Function Location Stock Search (#103) POS Key

Description

This feature is used to view the Stock on Hand (SOH) for a selected Product across Locations at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal.

To Be Considered

If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.

Pre-Requisites

Ensure the Function Location Stock Search POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.
Ensure a PLU is created for each of the Locations for which Stock Levels are to be searched. This can be done by creating a Product/PLU in the SwiftPOS Back Office and giving each of the PLUs created a description that is equivalent to their Location. Also, for each Location PLU created make sure all Locations are selected in the Product Full Edit screen and the Location is configured to include the Location PLU created.

Operation

At the SwiftPOS Touch terminal, select the Seat Number POS Key.
The Product search screen will be displayed. Search for and select a Product.
The Location Stock on Hand screen will be displayed.

Location Stock on Hand (SOH)

This screen is accessed from here and displays the SOH levels for the selected Product in the Locations listed. Note : Reciped Items, such as Cartons, Pack, etc will display the SOH as an estimated value in the same way it is displayed in the Product Edit screen.
