Covers Operation

 

Touch > Covers (#36) POS Key

 

Description

 

Used to enter the number of customers that are seated at a Table.

 

To Be Considered

 

  1. If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.

 

Pre-Requisites

 

  1. Ensure the Function Covers POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.

 

Operation

 

  1. How to enter the number of Covers at a Table

 

  1. Open an existing table or create a new table using the Table POS Key.
  2. Select the Covers POS Key.
  3. Enter the number of Covers seated at the Table and select OK.
  4. The number of Covers will now be displayed in the sales grid (as seen below).

 

In this screenshot the Covers displayed (3/2) consists of 3 adults and 2 children.
