Lifestyle Access Control Operation

Description

This feature is designed to manage access to Lifestyle facilities at a club/venue. Used in conjunction with Door/Reception Access Control, Customer/Members that have paid for a 1 - 10 year Gym Membership only, may not be allowed to access other facilities at the club/venue, for example, Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, etc. Likewise, if their Gym Membership has expired, access to the Gym will be prohibited.

Pre-Requisites

  1. Given this is a custom module it needs to be enabled via the Registration screen. There is no additional cost, but at a minimum it does require at least one SwiftPOS Touch terminal licence.

Setup

  1. Configure Interest Groups in the SwiftPOS Back Office.
  2. Assign Interest Groups to Customer/Members and ensure they are activated, and have an expiration date (Active To date). This date functions independently to their status (Membership Renewal Date).

  1. At the door/reception of each club/venue, the settings for the access control system need to be configured. This can be done by:

    1. Selecting the Classifications in the Validation Settings screen applicable to the club/venue.
    2. Selecting the Lifestyle Check in the Validation Settings screen and entering the Lifestyle Type.

  1. Restart the C:\SwiftPOSTouch\SwiftPOS.Reception.exe application.

Operation

  1. Start the C:\SwiftPOSTouch\SwiftPOS.Reception.exe application.
  2. When a Customer/Member swipes their Member Card at the door/reception to any of the clubs/venues, then their details are checked to confirm if they are assigned to the Classifications configured in the Validation Settings screen against the Lifestyle Check, and their Interest Group is active and valid for the Interest Group specified in the Type field.
  3. Depending on the results of the check, access to the club/venue will be allowed/denied.
