The NetPOS.Net service allows Back Office Customer/Member data to be accessed by SwiftPOS Touch terminals. For more information ...
For example, a Customer/Member swipes their card and NetPOS.Net makes a request to SwiftPOS Back Office to retrieve the Customer/Member's name and current Loyalty Points. The information is returned to the SwiftPOS Touch terminal and points can be redeemed on purchases up to the maximum number of points currently appointed to the Customer/Member. When the purchase (or redemption) occurs, the transaction is processed so that the Customer/Member's points are updated in SwiftPOS Back Office immediately.
To Be Considered
- Test Confirmation - This must be completed after any software update to ensure that functionality is working as expected. Note : In SwiftPOS Version 177 or higher, if you are running Members, Account or Loyalty, you must be running NetPOS.Net and reading the "BJL" sales files.
- Updating to NetPOS.Net in SwiftPOS version 4.13.177 - You need to add the legacy interface to NetPOS.Net to connect any of the old NetPOS interfaces. Note : To install NetPOS.Net with any Gaming or Front Office interfaces will require Software Licences to be current as of the installation date.
- If you have been running NetPOS.Net in a different folder prior to the release of SwiftPOS version 4.
- Invoke NetPOS.Net, Stop and uninstall the Service.
- Rename and/or backup and delete the existing folder.
- Upgrade your SwiftPOS Back Office and SwiftPOS Touch terminals to the latest version.
- Make sure all SwiftPOS Touch terminals are upgraded and have .NET Framework installed on both the SwiftPOS Back Office and SwiftPOS Touch terminals.
- Upgrade and send software updates to SwiftPOS Touch terminals.
- Invoke NetPOS.Net, install and start the Service. Registration and configuration is retained.
- All should be good now. Once running, all NetPOS.Net updates are handled by the SwiftPOS Back Office updates process.
Pre-Requisites
- NetPOS.Net Service is included with SwiftPOS Back Office Installation. Once an upgrade to the most current version of SwiftPOS Back Office has been completed and NetPOS.Net Service is installed, then refer to the following articles for more information:
- If NetPOS.Net was previously installed in a different folder, then ensure the NetPOS.Net Service is uninstalled/reinstalled with the correct folder.
- Network connection between the SwiftPOS Touch terminal PC and the third party Gaming Systems.
- Serial Number required in NetPOS.Net to configure the specific interface. (excluding SwiftPOS Interface).
- Select the Location Group (Venue) where these Customer/Members are valid. Select <<ALL> if they are valid in all Locations.
- If running NetPOS.Net and older NetPOS software on the same PC, make sure they are NOT using the same port number.
- Make sure Customer settings at the SwiftPOS Touch terminal are correct.

3rd Party Member Interface (Legacy)
This screen is accessed from here. In order to be able to access this screen, the 3rd Party Member Interface (Legacy) will need to be added to the NetPOS Registration screen. It is also used for integration to MiClub.
MiClub
To integrate to MiClub, do as follows:
- Ensure the the Venue is registered for the following:
- Modules:
- Accounts & Members
- Sales Reporting & History
- Inventory & Suppliers
- Licences:
- NetPOS 3rd party Member Interface (legacy)
- 1 or more Touch.
- 1 or more Web API - This is used to post Orders into SwiftPOS Touch (including MiClub bookings).
- 1 NetPOS generic Member Interface - Supplied at no additional cost with the SwiftPOS API - This is used to connect into the MiClub Membership system so that when a Member Card is swiped, their details are retrieved from MiClub.
- Optional might include:
- Xero integration.
- Multiple Back Office users.
- etc.

This screen is accessed from here. In order to be able to access this screen, the 3rd Party Member Interface 3.0 will need to be added to the NetPOS Registration screen.
Bally

- Use Qantum Reward Ratios - Select to ensure the Qantum provided Accrual and Redemption ratios are used instead of those configured against SwiftPOS Classifications.

SAP
Given the site specific nature of the SAP Export interface solution, documentation for this interface is NOT available. The solution DOES NOT lend itself to a plug and play scenario for other sites potentially wanting to interface with SAP Financials. - If a Product's Barcode is scanned at a SwiftPOS Touch terminal, the Barcode is sent to Zen Global. If a Product is added via the keyboard, the Product's first Barcode is sent to Zen Global.
- A Voucher Lookup POS Key can be created by adding a Customer POS Key to lookup Zen Global, and then setting it to an alternate lookup. Vouchers are like accounts so you can lookup a Customer/Member then add a gift Voucher to the sale which will just add it as an Account to the Customer/Member in the sale.
