Touch > Float In (#540) POS Key

Description

Used to enable the entry of a Float value.

To Be Considered

1. If required, restricting access to this POS Key can be managed by Clerk Security.

Pre-Requisites

1. Ensure the Function Float In POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer.

Operation

1. Enter the value of a Float
    
1. At the SwiftPOS Touch terminal select the Float In POS Key.
2. A numeric keypad will be displayed, prompting the entry of the Float value.
3. If the Float value is to be entered by denomination, then ensure the Require Float Entry by Denomination option is selected.

Note : Alternatively, a Float value can also be entered using the Float Setup button here.
