The Scenario
Spend $30 in the store on any item and receive a 4c per litre discount on fuel.
The Setup Required
- Setup the Voucher Parameters to control the issue of the Voucher

Note : The Family All is selected to ensure all items sold could trigger the Voucher. |
- Create a Voucher Layout for the Voucher that the customer is required to present at the checkout. Note : If a the Voucher has a Barcode, make sure a Barcode scanner has been setup in Touch to enable the scanning of the Voucher on redemption.
- Create the Discount that will be used as the Voucher action

- Select the discount from the Assigned Action to be taken at the time the Voucher is redeemed.

Manual Discount if Device is Offline
Its always good to have a manual backup if the Touch POS device is offline for some reason and the Voucher validation is offline. This can easily be achieved by ensuring a Discount POS Key is added to the appropriate Layout using the Keyboard Designer with the following settings:

Make sure that when the Discount POS Key is selected, the fuel item in the sale is also highlighted. |
