Bar TAB/Functions (Dry Till) Feature
- Any number of Bar Tabs can be run across the Venue
- Bar Tabs can be run with a pre-set balance, open balance or prepaid credit to suit various requirements.
- Bar Tabs can be accessed via a Magnetic Swipe Card, Bar Coded Card or assigned a specific colour when using colour coded wrist bands.
- Bar Tabs can have Product restrictions to stop staff from accidently charging spirits to a function that only allowed beer, wine and soft drink to be charged.
- Multiple tables can be charged off to a Bar Tab at the end of the restaurant sitting.
- Transfer table bills to Bar Tabs or Customer Accounts.
- Functions can be totally prepaid for food and drinks or may include options of prepaid drinks up to a pre-set limit.
- Functions can also automatically limit the type of purchases that can be charged to the function as well. The function may have approved the purchase of beer, wine and soft drink to be charged to the function but exclude spirits that have to be paid for individually. When all these items are rung up and charged to the function, the remaining Products will be left on the screen to be paid for with Cash or Credit Card.
- A summary of all items charged to the function are available at the end of the function to ensure that there is no disputes over the account.

Employee Log/Off
- Employees (including Kitchen staff) are able to Clock on and off from the SwiftPOS Touch terminal and record up to 3 paid breaks per shift. This is recorded with a wage cost per employee so that you can see your wage cost compared to turnover for any date range. You can also export the summary data to an external payroll package or use it for auditing purposes against your staff roster.

You can also keep the price per kg set in the SwiftPOS Back Office in sync with the scales.
- If you are weighing items on scales directly connected to the SwiftPOS Touch terminal, then the price per kg and total price will correctly print on the receipt to meet the requirements of weights and measures consumer guidelines.
- Scan Price Embedded Bar Codes? and correctly decrement the correct quantity from stock based on the cost per weight.
Staff Management Features and Security
- Staff can log onto the SwiftPOS Touch terminal with a RFID Wrist Band, Magnetic Card swipe, Barcoded staff card, Biometric finger scanner or use fast clerk POS Keys on the keyboard.
