Description
This document provides an overview of the Export/Import features currently available and supported by SwiftPOS. They grouped are as follows:
- GENERAL LEDGER INTERFACES - Includes Sales, Stock Movement, Supplier Invoices, Terminal Cash Offs, etc data in the form of Journals.
- MEMBERS - Includes Member Data for Gaming and Images.
- PRODUCTS - Includes Product Images, Price Books, Promotions (Mix n Match and Specials) and Scales PLU Data.
- SALES - Includes exports of Sales Data to third party applications.
- SUPPLIERS - Includes Invoices and Purchase Orders.

Downloads and Imports an iba_product_promotions.xml file from the IBA Web portal and converts it into SwiftPOS Price Book TXT files. These are then imported into the Matched Products and/or New Products tabs. From here they can be reviewed and committed (saved) into SwiftPOS. Namely, TMPB_CATEGORY.txt, TMPB_GROUP.txt, TMPB_MANUFACTURER.txt, TMPB_MASTERGROUP.txt, TMPB_PRODUCT.txt, TMPB_PROMOTION.txt, TMPB_SUPPLIER.txt and TMPB_SUPPLIERITEM.txt |
